    than most voters in these districts. And some people just don't want to understand that a Democrat better suited for LA, SF, NYC, Boston, or Chicago isn't going to sell in rural Georgia, Texas, or whatever other red state that is out there.

    I do think, though, that if you have a 60% Democratic district and the incumbent votes with the party only 40% of the time, perhaps a primary challenge is in order. Unfortunately, though, some people expect Democrats in rural Texas to vote like they are from Castro Valley in San Francisco. That's not going to happen. If those people had their way there would be only 35 Senate Democrats, 150 House Democrats, and 10 Democratic Governors.
