  •  I'm here. (11+ / 0-)

From Boise, Congressional District 1, Legislative District 14.  All of my elected officials are knuckle dragging idiots.  Evolution passed them by.

My neighbors look so normal, and act so reasonable in public.  I wonder what possessed them to elect the idiots they have.

I'm feeling quite hopeful that Sali might get beat this time.  He's done nothing for Idaho, but make us look silly.  (Like we needed any more of that, thanks to Larry Craig and Helen Chenoweth).

My dogs think I'm smart and pretty.

I too reside in ID-01, Leg district 14 (Meridian).  Regarding our knuckle dragging idiots, we have the misfortune of being represented in the Idaho House by the Republican Majority Leader, Mike Moyle.  He is generally regarded around these parts as the single biggest impediment to permitting local citizens a vote on whether to fund an improved (and much needed) public transit system here in the Boise-Nampa-Caldwell area.

He fails to realize that he now represents a growing urban population in his district and that the farmlands of his youth are being replaced by vast housing projects (like the one I currently live in).  Traffic is horrendous.  The road system is underfunded and extremely inadequate to the task.  Public transit buses lack sufficient coverage to generate needed ridership.  His solution is to try and make it impossible for the voters to get the funding needed via a local-option tax.

He is running for re-election in November against our candidate Michelle Waddell.  I know that we are a small-time operation out here in "friggin' Idaho" but this is one Republican bastard who truly deserves to be retired by the voters.  If you can see yourself making a contribution to her campaign it would be extremely appreciated!
