Why not piss all over the guy who voted the right way on those issues?  The ONE guy who voted the right way on the Patriot Act.  The guy who stood up against FISA from the get-go.

Do you not realize this is our guy asking for our help to get a few more guys like him in DC?

    Geezuz.

    •  Did He Filibuster the Bill ? No (0+ / 0-)

Did Dodd ? No. This law should of and could of been held up until next yr when Obama is Pres. I'm sick of excuses and people who fail to do what's right acting like they did everything they could when we know better, then asking us for more money. I'm not that stupid.
I like Russ as much as the next person but I refuse to fawn over someone who didn't give his all to keep his oath to the Constitution.

There was no procedural window where they could.

OTOH, I've got no problem with your position.

I still think Feingold has done a great job on many issues, and my personal opinion is that he and Dodd sweated blood over the FISA issue, but I have to admit that I don't get very excited about working on any kind of fundraising or any kind of push to elect Democrats after seeing what they have done with their year and a half majority.

As long as Pelosi, Hoyer, Reid, Schumer etc. are pretty much The Leadership of the party - it's hard to want to put on the hat.
