    This Eisenstadt guy is a pranking blogger's creation.  His bio says that he was a senior fellow at "The Harding Institute" for god's sake.

      If Hoover can have one, why not Harding?

      Don't the Republicans love naming institutes after their failed presidents?

        part of Stanford University (Hoover was also president of Stanford), while the Harding one exists only in cyber space.

          the Hoover Institute was housed at, but institutionally independent of, Stanford.

          That is, all its funding and governance is external to Stanford -- at least, afaik.

          It does seem the point of the "Harding Institute" joke is to poke fun at the Hoover Institute.
