    However...

    First, he's still less bad than McCain. That's thin gruel. But it's something.  Who wins in November will make a difference, if not nearly as much of a difference as the hardcore supporters of both candidates would like you to think.

    Secondly, it's not all about the media. Once again actually progressive Democratic primary voters decided to ignore an actually progressive candidate (Kucinich) and make the race into a battle between two "centrists."  I'll be the first to say that Kucinich was not a plausible presidential candidate. But whose fault is it that there weren't plausible progressive candidates?  It's time to start working, within or outside the Democratic Party, to make sure that we won't have such poor choices in the future.
