    Anyone who thought about it and looked at the trends knew from the end of February that there was simply no way Hillary Clinton could win on pledged delegates, and that her scenario of convincing superdelegates to go against pledged delegate counts was absurd.  But until Obama won North Carolina, the media was unwilling to call it.  Why?  I am sure the close primary race drove the ratings up, and they did not care about the fraction of their audience that was in the know.  Similarly, we won't be seeing a lot of electoral maps showing Obama in the lead.  It is in their vested interest to keep it close because more people will watch.

      you'd conclude that Hillary was going to walk away with the nomination by Super Tuesday.

      Funny how the voters didn't go along with that.
