  •  George Gallup has, for a long time, been dead (0+ / 0-)

And it's pretty ironic to claim that Gallup results "usually lean to the right of center" when the only poll to show Kerry ahead in Ohio at the end was CNN / USA Today / Gallup.

If you're going to accuse people of professional fraud, you could at least marshal some facts.

    •  Gallup has a well-known gop bias (0+ / 0-)

Not sure about George Gallup, but Gallup polls are generally considered to be weighted towards the GOP.  I don't have any links, but calibpatriot isn't the first to point this out, and I remember from many poll comparisons that Gallup is typically  skewed to the right.

      •  "well-known... generally considered" (0+ / 0-)

        Well, that's sketchy.

There's some solid work that suggests that Gallup's LV model may produce a Republican skew early in the campaign -- but even that effect is pretty subtle. If calibpatriot or anyone else is going to accuse Gallup of "politically motivated" "fake polling," I don't think it's good enough to say that someone else said it first.

....obtain the desired results.  Legal fraud is neither necessary nor desireable.
