The extreme right wing doesn't need Hillary.
    They have Obama.

You know - Muslim? Terrorist? Radical?
Trust me, they will go ape shit with or without Hillary.

Oh, they hate Obama, all right, but it's nothing compared to the unhinged, off-the-rails hatred they have for the Clintons.  It ain't even close.

I live in Mississippi and have heard plenty of Republicans showing some grudging respect for Obama, but they can't mention Hillary without spitting.  There are insane - and very motivational - levels of hatred there.  If anybody thinks the levels of hate they have for Obama, or for Kerry last time, are anything like what they have for Hillary, all I've got to say is you're fooling yourself.  Hillary never had a chance to get elected on a national scale, and she never will.  It's a dead-born idea.

        It is the opposite.

There is a grudging respect for her toughing it out in the primaries.
Not a single Gopper has ever questioned her C-in-C credentials.

Of course, there is a significant difference betwen Southern and Western Republicans.  Southern Goppers tend to be more evangelical and intolerant while Western Goppers tend to be more libertarian.

Thus, the question becomes where would Clinton's pluses help and where would her minuses not matter?  I suggest that in the Deep South it hardly matters.  Obama is not going to win any Wallace state - even Mississippi.  (The numbers suggested for an Obama win in Miss. are less than unlikely.)  But Clinton can make a difference in places like Ohio, Missouri, Nevada, and Florida.

Of course, Obama can ignore this and take his chances.
He still might win without her.
