    because I never thought the man was a saint.  Hell, he was running for President, which says a lot about the ego of almost anyone.

    Politicians get exposed to a lot more temptations than the rest of us; I don't know how many of us would pass the test.

    But Edwards was running for the Democratic nomination, in fact was one of the front runners, knowing that this not-too-hard-to-find story was just waiting to explode.

    That is real ego and selfishness, because he knew just what is at stake.

    I don't regret my earlier support, and I still think he had a positive impact on the dialogue of the campaign.

      has just had the ultimate gaul and turmerity to suggest that Edwards comments during the campaign about his son's passing is somehow cheapened by this affair story.

      This is disgusting.  Incredibly low.
