    This is the story I heard in many many places.

    Older voters show up early, so when the polls first opened it looked like it was going to be a Hillary landslide.  About 10 minutes before the polls closed, because young people show up later (ever been to the movies?  Its true there too), throngs of Obama supporters showed up.

    My understanding, and I don't base it on any imperical evidence, is that Richardson voters went heavily to Obama based on his secret side deal or whatever you want to call it.  In farm communities like the one I was at, Edwards voters went heavily for Clinton.  However, in most farm communities, Edwards qualified.  My guess would be that in communities around Des Moines, Edwards voters in places he didn't qualify went heavier to Obama.
