    on the east side of Des Moines (mostly working class area), Clinton, Obama, and Edwards got almost equal numbers of votes.  The Richardson people mostly went to Clinton, as they were mostly elderly white people, as the Clinton people were.  I think we (Obama) got the Gravel guy, though :)

    The point is, I don't think there is too much generalization that can be done about who went where in the caucuses.  Your point about Obama doing less well on second-round voting in the rural areas does seem right, though.
