    Be very careful, because the high pressure and temperature can cook you if it ruptures.  I am more familiar with them them than most, and am very wary of rupture.  Warmest regards, my friend, Doc.

      One of the exciting things in the new literature is the great strides made in materials science.

      Corrosion has always been a big problem with supercritical water, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it become less of an issue in the future.

      There are a lot of supercritical fluids beyond water of course, and beyond CO2.

      Water though, is a key to the energy future, which is the most critical problem facing the human race in my opinion.
