    Colorado supported Bush twice. He figures this is a given. Do you think anyone in Colorado thinks this is an issue?

      West Slope and Eastern Plains Colorado farmers will absolutely revolt on this.  That's why Bob Schaffer came out with such a strong statement.  He knows - he tried to take West Slope water over to the Front Range with Ref. A back in 2003.

      The biggest controversies in our state in recent history have probably all been water issues: water distribution to eastern farmers during drought, Arkansas River Valley reservoir proposal, Pueblo vs. Colorado Springs water rights to the Arkansas, Ref. A, the Baca Ranch...  The whole of Colorado is littered with the bones of people who've tried to take other peoples' water.

      Okay, one non-water issue: the Army's proposed takeover of the SE corner of Colorado (Pinon Canyon expansion).
