  •  You make a good point. If every woman (0+ / 0-)

    had regular Pap smears, the number of deaths would be much lower.  But, the reality is, every woman does not, so the problem needs to be addressed.  

    If women who do not get regular Pap smears tend to be of low incomes (which seems likely though I do not know), the program to provide Gardasil vaccination (for free) for all low income girls would seem to be the most important part of the program, and certainly that part of the Gardasil effort would be cost-effective.
