  •  I'm Obama supporter so stick your PUMA up your A. (0+ / 0-)

I'd wager I was supporting Obama with bucks while you and DKOS were still dissing him in favor the sleazy Edwards.

Clinton as VP would have been better for Obama being elected president than Biden. Biden simply has no electoral pull which he demonstrated in three runs for Democratic presidential nomination. Banking industry gave him seed money for his losing runs but Biden never caught on with public.

Clinton left as the most popular two term president in last 60 years. Give credit where credit is due.

Clinton did the main big thing he needed to do, he cut US deficit every year in office and got US to consecutive budget surplus first time in 100 years and that after runways deficit/debt of Reagan/Bush years.

This lead to economic expansion, low interest rates and low inflation.

Cliton also kept US out of war. His efforts in Iraq were why Bush Jr's Iraq war was so unnecessary.  Clinton's policies had eliminated Saddam as threat to US national security, no WMD, no terrorist connection, no clear and present danger.

It is arguable that had Gore been elected and national security team Clinton had in place stayed (Clarke for example) 911 would have been prevented as Clarke noted in his book.

    •  As I said, revisionism (0+ / 0-) what does Bill Clinton's record tell us about Hillary Clinton as a potential VP?
