On the Dallas Morning News blog this morning, I challenged other bloggers to a contest to see who could write the most ludicrous right-wing talking point, in the style of Dallas shock jock Mark Davis:

Come on over to Hash's blog and see who can create the most ignorant, outrageous, over-the-top right-wing talking point of the night!

My entry: "What are the Democrats trying to say with the Roman architecture backdrop? That Obama's an emperor or something? Someone please tell the Democrats that we don't live in ancient Rome, we live in the gold-durned-United States of America! Name one single building in the United States that's inspired by Roman architecture--have the Democrats lost their minds?"

:D Anyone else want to try to top that one?

I just checked for responses and found this from a Republican't:

":D Anyone else want to try to top that one?"

Yes, I agree with you that the post you cited was an incredibly stupid post. But yours are often not much better.

Check out Grumby Deacon's post above. It's just as absurd and void of facts as the post that you point out.

Gee, for the first time ever, I think I actually rolled on the floor laughing 'til my ass fell off!

In TX-32, track the voting record of Pete Sessions at SessionsWatch.
