Don't get me wrong; Chalabi is a slimey bastard who deserves as much credit as George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld for Operation Iraqi Clusterfuck. And John McSame likewise deserves every bit of criticism directed at him for supporting the utterly corrupt and dishonest Chalabi.

But it's...well, a Republican kind of stretch to blame McSame for the actions of someone associated with one of his associates.

McCain has been tied to Chalabi over and over and so have his lobbyists, Black and Scheunemann.  McCain tried to have Chalabi set up as a head of a gov in exile before the war.

Even after Chalabi was linked to leaking to Iran that the US had the Iranian communications code, McCain did not break ties and even Petraeus tapped him for assistance with the surge.

And now a deputy of Chalabi has been tied to the June bombing and Chalabi is on the front lines, protesting that arrest.  I can't imagine not bringing up the association of Chalabi to that arrested deputy and the other associations (embezzlement, disinformation, leaks of secret US info to Iran, counterfeiting issues, etc.) and McCain's associations with Chalabi.
