This is more evidence that the rift between social and fiscal conservatives is coming to a breaking point in the GOP.  The big business Wall Street socially liberal supply-siders are increasingly growing divided from the Christian extremist right.  I'm expecting more of them to move to the Democratic side.  It's easier to move the Democrats closer to the fiscal center (Bill Clinton) than have social conservatives abandon their god.

conservatives. Welcome them aboard. They have been abandoned by Bush in any case. You don't stick future generations with the bill -- you do what you can within the means available. Democrats understand that a whole lot better than neo-conservative.

We have only just begun and none too soon.

Fiscal conservatives are deficit hawks that believe that tax cuts follow reductions in spending. On the other hand, supply-siders believe in cutting/removing taxes on capital while increasing the types government spending that transfer wealth from ordinary income earners to members of the capital class.  The Club for Growth is a prime example of supply-side Republicanism.
