  •  Sounds like a poll tested response. (0+ / 0-)

It sounds like their polster are telling them that people care mostly about the issues and what you are going to do to turn the economy around.

I am somewhat leary of whether or not this is true. People may say they care about issues, but I think people vote on personality and character too. I think it is not that people lie when asked this question, I think people are not being real with the pollsters when asked whether issues are more important.

Colin Cowherd was making this point the other day, of all people.  People answer polls the way they think they want whoever is polling them to see them.

Which of course makes me wonder about this:

How many people answer a poll saying they'd vote for a person of color or a woman, but when they actually get to the booth, they won't?  No matter what?

It just means our margin of error is greater, and we have more work to do.  It's like anything else - you have to win by enough to overcome the refs.

Many voters do vote on personalities , while telling pollster they vote on issues.

I believe the Obama camp are wasting valuable time to define her.

I just dont understand why tghey arent bringing troopergate every chances they get.

      •  How do you know that they are not defining her? (1+ / 0-)

Wexler is defining her just fine in Fla. That's why the McCain camp attacked him yesterday.

I know how you feel though. Sometimes I wish that they had Hillary's response team.  They knew how to throw punches!!
