I couldn't tell from your post if you were acknowledging that more DIY abortions would lead to more ER calls and deaths of women. Or do you mean the Internet would facilitate an underground for doctors? The recent RNC event in St Paul teaches us that certain authorities pay close attention to the Internet chatter in order to raid homes and arrest people even before crimes are committed.

    Just thinking out loud, here...

to make women go underground to get an abortion.

Yes, it would lead to women getting abortions by unskilled persons, causing harm and death to women.

And, yes, I believe the Internet would facilitate an underground for people... doctors that are skilled and want to help women, as well as some unscrupulous people (de-licensed doctors and non medical people) who say they're qualified but they're not and they offer their services for a high fee... only they're not skilled and they cause harm to women.

Bottom line I'm saying IF abortion is outlawed, I believe women will be hurt more than prior to the advent of the Internet... as it was word of mouth back then as to where to get an abortion, limited resources.

I'm probably not conveying it properly, but I mean it will hurt women more, maybe, than it did before Roe.
