HRed. For being off the topic and for being so very Naderesque.

clinton/gore could have ended completely the hostilities toward Iraq, and it would have made it very difficult for Bush the Lessor to continue where Bush/Clinton left off. Instead we have this trillion dollar conflict that is making it impossible to fund what this nation and this planet really need... a turn to a sustainable environmentally-friendly economy, the end of hunger and world poverty, in short, a future that is livable.

I also supported the mass protests in Seattle against the Clinton/Gore supported WTO.  Where was al gore then?

I am glad to see him taking some steps to turn around.

          •  some steps? (0+ / 0-)

God what a fucking joke. The man has devoted his post-election life to the issue. All you did was march a few times. Big effing deal. It doesn't give you the right to high horse him about his past. Which frankly was a much better solution than the hot war with Iraq that we are in now.

All those bucks we need for the green economy? We had them in 2000.

You are so myopic it's unreal.

you were a Nader voter. If so, YOU, my friend, are at fault for hoisting Cheney and Bush on the country and the planet.

what planet do you come from?
and why do you worship politicians?

Seems that there is this dogma that must be adhered to by some people.  No room for debate?  that sounds like Cheney/Bush doctrine. a kind of political fundamentalism.

the Naderist fundamentalism is coming from you.

Gore didn't create those damn sanctions. Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait led to those sanctions during Bush Sr. They persisted because Saddam kept playing games with UN inspections. If the asshole cared about his people, he would've allowed unfettered inspections.

And, Gore wasn't the damn president during Clinton/Gore either; he was only the VP. Yet, you came in here, trying to hang that around Gore's neck.

Exactly this kind of bastardized political logic (by Nader his kind) blessed us with the rogue Cheney/Bush regime. And the consequences are there for everyone to see.

                "why do you worship politicians"

No, I don't worship politicians. I despise bullshit smearing  of the kind you tried to do here.

            situation proves it.

I sympathize with your commentary, but I do think that it is a bit off topic.

            Sanctions were immoral.
