  •  Just like Kerry, right? (0+ / 0-)

And all those lawyers in Florida in 2000 were undone by William Christopher's lack of a spine, Dubya's brother and his cronies, and a SCOTUS packed by his dad. And in 2004, they couldn't even get Ohio corrected, let alone the slam dunk of New Mexico.

Spare me your faith in lawyers.

Obama has a sense of leadership and a determination to fight.

Kerry was flailing in the wind, never able to articulate a coherent vision, or formulate a coherent strategy.

    •  Are you with the campaign? (0+ / 0-)

I have seen their plans for the Ohio and how they are fighting caging.  Look Obama is a lawyer and knows the laws, he is not Kerry so get that out of your head.

Instead of complaining, go out and volunteer to bring more votes in for Obama

      •  That's partly my point (1+ / 0-)

I don't have faith in lawyers fixing a mess after it happens. And Team Obama is driving up poll numbers to put it out of reach of cheating. So hopefully, we don't have to rely on lawyers. Because, in the end, Dem lawyers always lose. As I tell my HS wrestlers, "Don't let it get close enough for a bad call to cost you the win."

a few days ago that I would have to locate described his decision to enter this race based in part upon his background in election law--he taught it at the University of Chicago.

He realized he could not win by traditional means, so before he committed, he researched the need to expand the electorate and protect voters rights. They have already begun implementing procedures to prevent voter suppression before it happens, not afterward.
