  •  Time's up. (6+ / 0-)

    Here's my plan:

Take the 700 billion and start the Healthcare Pot for Universal Healthcare/single payer.

Companies pay two or three hundred dollars a month into the Pot; individuals pay the same.  (The "Pot" will start paying out immediate claims until it can be "replenished" by lower, affordable premiums.

Cut the middle"man" out, i.e, the healthcare insurance companies.

It's a win, win, win, win, win for EVERYBODY.

Employees and individuals will never have a deductible to pay ever again (or employees contributing to their health plan.)  Seniors can stop paying for Part B and Part D.  Everything will be covered under their automatic deduction through Social Security, AND the premiums will be reduced.

There you go:  Every company in the country has extra money now; every individual policy holder gains money.

If you make under 50K, you pay ten dollars a month into the healthcare pot for full coverage.

Billions of dollars will now be liquid to put into the economy.

On November 4, say, Thanks, but no thanks to McCain/Palin.
