John McCain would kick a puppy to become president.

I hate parker but this article was hilarious.

      •  Hilarious . . . but scary . . . (0+ / 0-)

. . . if they do pull her off the ticket, the base will get re-energized with a Romney or Pawlenty stepping in to take over. A pick like that would change the electoral map . . . right now, Obama has Michigan within sight . . . but with Romney? Same for Pawlenty and Minnesota. Either way, Alaska stays 'Red'.

I'd rather see them stick to their 'guns', so to speak, and keep Palin.

If they should pull her off after the debate with Biden . . . the Obama campaign MUST DEMAND a second Veep debate with the replacement candidate.

I've given to Obama's campaign, HAVE YOU?
Sarah Palin? No. Real men vote with the 'big' head. Obama/Biden '08.

They wouldn't get energized over Romney because he's a scary Mormon cultist. Pawlenty would just be a wet blanket. Further the narrative would be that McCain fucked up the first big decision that he had to make (that's the opinion already) and now wants a do-over which would not look mavericky but desperate.

They were even saying as much on Morning Joe this am.

          Sarcasm: It beats killing people...

        •  I hope they stick with Palin, too, but (0+ / 0-)

if they don't, imagine how McCain will look in terms of not vetting his candidate.

I think some conservative votes are quietly peeling away from McCain over this whole slow-motion catastrophe of a campaign.

Not that anything will be easy, and if Mittens came in, that would help.  I honestly don't think Huckabee would step in right now, but perhaps I'm wrong.

...just another hooligan from the droogie clique

. . . is smart enough to stay away . . . besides, then he'd have to give up the Fox gig . . . or not . . . I guess they could just change the title under his name. :P
