    There isn't anything inherently wrong with "exploring" the idea that there might have been multiple "origin" events, as long as you come back to the DNA evidence which shows conclusively that all species on earth share the same genetic code.

    I will admit that this does not logically rule out supernatural design, but then, of course you would have to teach that whatever your beliefs, you can't bring the supernatural into science because then it isn't science anymore.

    Numbers are like people . . . Torture them enough and they'll tell you anything.
