  •  The first question should be is this a real press (1+ / 0-)

.... conference or a fake one.

Because if it's on private property they can try to eject any individuals who may be actually trying to cover it on the grounds that .... I dunno,  I'm just thinking about what happened when I tried to see what was going on at a McClintock "press conference."

Are there criteria ?  Are they only going to let married heteros see it ?  Christian married heteros ?   How many years do the reporters have to be married ?  If female, do they have to have permission from their spouses husbands to attend, or also from clergy?

    "Educate." Mmm. Like education camps?

Lawyers being present is always a very bad sign. Face it, who wants to ask an attorney who is advocating regressive civil right issues any questions, because they might turn around and sue you if you asked them something embarrassing.

I was wondering why McClintock was playing possum this weekend up until tuesday.  Round two, incoming !

    •  A most excellent first question. (1+ / 0-)

Time to call that number at the top of the press release?

And, if you wanna get really suspicious, the original press release indicated 10 AM, but then they released a "corrected" version showing 11 AM.  Hmmm.

      •  Another point to consider who is taping it (0+ / 0-)

... because the McClintock "press conference" that McClintock's people did with the MAF group and ABC on Sept. 16th, they were taping it and used some of the heavily edited tape later and some of the comments later to make yet another swiftboat slime hit piece on the Democratic congressional candidate.

So this may not be a "press conference" so much as another photo gathering opportunity for them.  With lawyers on standby status ready to leap into action.
