    the article says that TTY "which give a pattern of electronic beeps and clicks - typically are discarded as faxes or computer modems." So, is there some obvious difference between the way a fax machine sounds and the way a TTY machine generally sounds?  

    Either way, this shows the importance of providing more detailed info than simply "wrong number". Indicating that it's a fax machine can let the campaign know it's a possible TTY
