  •  George P. Bush Scares Me (none)
He's handsome and would take a lot of the latino vote.
    •  I'm not sure he's a viable candidate (none)
He was an undergraduate at Rice University, and his questionable choices there would certainly come out if he showed up as a political candidate.  I'm sure someone would come forward with that information.
      •  Sounds like (none)
you know something the rest of us don't.

        I like that.

        •  Lots of people know. Go to smoking gun.com (none)
and do a search on his name. You'll find the police reports. Nothing like getting liquored up, stalking a woman, followng her home, climbing through her bedroom window, confronting her father, jumping back out the window, driving away in your pickup truck, coming back 15 minutes later, and making donuts in the woman's front lawn!

Yep, presidential material all the way!

That's easily taken care of. There's still plenty of time for him to be born again. If he's already born again he can become born again born again. Is that born again squared?

          •  Call in Your Friends and Bring out the shredder. (none)
A few calls from well-placed heavies here, a quietly-uttered threat there, some documents shredded, and -- POOF!! problem solved.  Candidate sanitized and ready for action.

      •  I was there (none)

Well, at least I was at Rice when he was at Rice. I only saw him a couple of times. The favored story about him among undergrads was the time when, all liquored up, he threw himself through a glass window. First floor, unfortunately. I believe Daddy picked up the bill.

          "First floor, unfortunately ??"

I don't want to see him in an elected office, but hey let's not wish people harm, even as a joke.

          just my .02

          •  yeah (none)

I thought about qualifying it as I typed it. I didn't, and don't, particularly want him to be hurt. But it was a self-inflicted "accident", and he has the very best in medical care. So if it were a second-story window and he broke an arm or something maybe it would have taught him a lesson about responsible use of alcohol. Which could in turn prevent worse injury later.

I wouldn't hold it against him particularly if I didn't know that he was destined for power and responsibility because of his last name. And if it weren't part of a general pattern of stupid and self-centered behavior.

      •  viable.... (none)
Well, GW wasn't exactly squeeky clean either.  There Was the whole cocaine thing in the 80's.
All the guy needs to do to become 'viable' is become 'saved'.  It's not like anyone is going to question his sincerity....
