one set of perceived bias with another set of biased statements.

And honestly, I listened to the full recording and thought it was pretty even-handed.  She gives advice to both campaigns, says McCain will have a tougher job because of the economic news (implicitly suggesting what you're angry at her for not saying, that the economy is a Republican disaster), and that the Obama team will have a much easier job tonight. I'll leave it for other people to decide on their own.

    •  No, talking about her earlier report. (0+ / 0-)

I know what you're talking about; two different things.

They sound a little choppy because they're off the cuff, but they don't strike me as terribly awful.  Asked about what each candidate has to do tonight:

McCain has the tougher job because polls show he's behind outside the margin of error, we've had a lot of bad economic news on top of the other bad economic news we had, we had a very depressing job report, the market continues to go down even though the bailout passed...

[Obama] has to really turn in the kind of performance he's been turning in.  Be calm and steady and even-keeled, show empathy, be cool but not too cool, and I think the Obama campaign at this point in the race just have to be reassuring, to convince voters that he's a safe vote as Commander in Chief, but they certainly have the wind at their back.

I recommend listening rather than reading, for full effect.
