  •  I disagree. (11+ / 0-)

It's not about the plumber himself, it's about McCain and the media.

If Angry Old Gramps wants to try another Hail Mary -- another stupid P.R. stunt -- we should expose the bullshit behind it.

    JOHN McCAIN = George W. Bush's 3rd term.

    •  That's the same line of shit (0+ / 0-)

      McCain's stringing about Ayers.

This is idiotic.  People are allowed to ask candidates questions.  Us getting huffy about it makes us look like jerks.

        •  this one (0+ / 0-)

McCain: It's not about Ayers, it's about Obama's judgment.

DK: It's not about Joe the plumber, it's about McCain and the media.

Sorry for the tone, I just really don't think we should be dwelling on this.

Just saw this after working all day.

No worries for the tone.  It's the internet.

I disagree regarding the analogy.  Obama had almost nothing to do with Ayers, and has absolutely nothing to do with him at this point.  In any case, there's no new info about Ayers, or Obama's relation with him, much as the rightwingers try to make stuff up.

McCain made Joe the Plumber the centerpiece of his economic argument last night, and it's perfectly legitimate -- wise, I think -- to check McCain's facts / spin, especially given his history of lying.
