    can't be accused of having an editorial clue.

    In the last gubernatorial election the Oregonian endorsed a joke named Ron Saxton.  The paper admitted that Kulongoski was better on every position, more experienced and so on. But that somehow we needed 'change' and even though Saxton hadn't actually proposed anything material (even the big O said), they were gonna endorse him anyhow.

    Saxton, he of the secret efficiencies - like McCain, he knows how to <fill in blank>.

    Of course they were going to endorse that two bit sleaze bag Gordon Smith.  The guy who made a anti-war speech but didn't alter his voting one jot from supporting the administration's private not-so-little war like the spineless tool he is.

        I used to read the Oregonian editorial pages a fair amount. Reinhard was consistently a waste of ink.
