  •  Great news! (7+ / 0-)

That means Hagee and Parsley and Muthee and Brickman are all back on the table too! Let's hear all about that deluge of anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim and anti-Catholic and misogynist garbage that has spouted from this mess of McCain/Palin pastors. I'd LOVE to spend the next two weeks talking about Sarah Palin's closetful of scary pastors. Let's have at it!

You are so very wrong if you think that Obama would smear back that way.  He just doesn't do it.

I think that Davis floated a trial balloon to see how it would go over with the media.  The msm must be full of glee as they have been agitating for this for weeks.

I recall a couple of instances where they say they will talk about Wright, and then they don't (does anyone else remember?). I think they're trying to remind the media that Wright is there, and see if they start raising hell the way they did during the primaries.

Actually, the whole strategy of the McCain campaign is to try to rerun the primaries. That's why they chose Palin, that's why they bring Ayers, that's why McCain mentions Clinton all the time. The primaries were the real race. This stuff is just a poor imitation.

If I was a dehydrated baby, I wouldn't want bottled hot water from John McCain!

    •  1 phone call ends this (0+ / 0-)

I agree Davis is putting this up as a trial balloon hoping the media will run with it. I doubt he will be pleased, so they might be ready to bring it up themselves. Obama has been giving speeches telling crowds its going to get worse, so he's sort of inoculating himself against the worst of it.

But he could spike it in 1 phone call.

"Hello John? Barack. Just thought I'd let you know as a senatorial courtesy. You bring up Wright, Ayers and that crap again, and Joe Biden will only give speeches about Hagee, Muthee on Palin, Charles Keating and Cindy's pill-popping and embezzlement from now to Nov. 4.
Have a good day campaigning John." (Click)

      Shalom.
