in the new administration.  (I am not superstitious, but hesitate to name the new administration--don't want to jinx it).

I would like to see universal voter registration made automatic whenever anyone gets a drivers license, passport, hunting or fishing license, professional license, or even file a tax return.  And soften the ID requirements so that it will not have to be the 100% perfect match that RFK, Jr. talked about on the Rachel Maddow Show the other night.  Additionally, I do not know what laws are already on the books, but we need to see the DOJ civil rights division going after all those who have tried or committed voter fraud through caging, stealing votes or rigging machines.  If new and tougher laws are needed, well, so be it.  And get rid of the electronic machines.  Nothing wrong with optical scanners, since there is a paper trail.  And also, it should be a crime to dispose of either registrations or paper ballots within a specified time limit, such as seven to ten years.

These are some of the changes I want to see.
