  •  Yes, the diarist did a great job. (0+ / 0-)

And his or her work is not pointless, and is constructive.

But, we are all grown-ups.  I think he or she can take criticism.  My criticism is simply that an this diary leaves out "wholesale" crucial topics and forces and issues of why this Congress "did nothing".  To rely on this as an accurate historical synopsis of these times would be wrong, because of this.

A Republican stonewalling opposition is but a small part of this tale.

Sorry, for being a dick, I just think that blaming solely blaming Republicans for this mess is disingenuous.

    •  I agree, there's plenty of blame (2+ / 0-)

to go around, but the numbers are hard to argue with. Who knows how impeachment would've gone, but I think we agree that we should have found out.

[-6.25, -5.59] I'm so happy. Cause today I found my friends. They're on dKos.

a dick, I guess was warranted.  In my defense, I can only say that there, imo, is no point in being nice and polite when it comes to criticism of this Dem-controlled congress.  They let us (progressives, thinkers, supports of the rule of law and the Constitution) down, hard.

        They did.

And they did it because they thought that the ends (potential gains in this election) justified the means.  IMO, that demonstrates a fundamental lack of integrity, on their part.  It makes them no different than who they replaced, you can't get around that.  I am not happy.
