    where Obama probably needs 7-10% victory. If he can run even with McCain in Washoe then he can win the state. The problem that doomed Kerry was that he won Clark, but by only around 5%. He lost upstate NV by 47930 votes. Obama needs to cut that margin to around 30K.

      In Washoe County we had 18,000 voter registration deficit and we lost by 7,000 votes. Today we have a 2,000 voter registration advantage.

      In Clark County we had a 44,000 voter registration advantage and we won by 26,000 votes. Today we have 125,000 voter registration advantage.

      Net gain in those two counties is 9,000+81,000 = 90,000. Total Kerry loss was 20,000.

      We've also improved our voter registration deficit in the rest of the state by 4,000.
