    His resources are not that "finite".  If it can afford to advertise in expensive and far more Republican in Georgia, it can afford the cheaper and more Democratic Arkansas.

      at least some. The fact that the Clintons were dispatched to the home state is surprising to me, given the polling. Maybe Obama had internals that showed a couple of rolls on the long shot was worth it, but down ticket races elsewhere should take precedence.

      ...and the Obama campaign identified early that several hundred thousand of them were unregistered, meaning that there was a large untapped pool of likely voters ready to be canvassed, registered, etc.  This is why Georgia was targeted early.  

      Arkansas' AA population, while large, is considerably smaller than Georgia's.
