MN doesn't care too much they just want to vote to be done correctly.  i don't hear too much outrage right now in general echoing Colemen's fake outrage about 'recount shenanigans' that have made the final tally closer.

    •  MN is national on talk radio, trunkloads of ballo (1+ / 0-)

ballots are being found! they're dropping from the sky according to limbaugh's replacement for today. the national talk empire, reaching an audience as big as the one that voted in obama, will be distorting the recount for weeks and it will get local. if massive public assholiness can make a difference at all, guess what.

ignoring the talk radio monopoly continues to be the biggest political blunder in decades

I'm on an elections board here in MN (getting ready to count like mad next week), and I can tell you without question there are no "missing truckloads" of ballots. This is a surprisingly secure and reliable process from my vantage point, but one thing I know for sure is that they know where the ballots are, and that the totals are going to match.

They can gripe all they want, but I have a very good feeling about this process, and that it will be very difficult to poke holes in it, whichever way it turns out. I still believe Franken lost (gut - no other basis), but we'll see how it goes. It's just nice knowing that there is a secure and reliable vote trail that will reliably tell us what really happened one way or another.
