  •  state races also tighter (0+ / 0-)

if you go to pollster.com you can see how the race is now tighter in Virgina, PA, CO, FL, IN etc - you get the point. Thus, with two/three days delay State Polls did follow the national trend - for whatever reason.  Lets work hard - the optimistic Kos did not win in 2004 - Lets not be blind but keep your eyes open and work work work to carry this home. Obama needs us. I am hoping that the 30 min show an effect in the polls tomorrow.

Other polls show a remarkably stable set of numbers in those states. CNN/Time just had Obama doubling his CO numbers yesterday, form +3 to +6.

    •  Tighter yes but O leads in all of those states ex (1+ / 0-)

Indiana and today's Ras poll shows movement there toward Obama. Ras moved the race from lean R to toss up.

Everyone knew it would get tighter But McCain NEEDS every one of the states you listed. Ain't gonna happen.

    •  tari - almost all of your comments in the last (0+ / 0-)

several days have been negative or concern trolling.

If you're an Obama backer, cut it out NOW.

      •  this site has a history of celebrating too early (0+ / 0-)

plus I see signs of over confidence - like going after McCain in Arizona just to humiliate him, and yes we can spent money there - I just did - I am all for it, but we have to keep pushing in VA, PA, FL, OH and Obama and Biden should be there personally and not lose a lot of time on planes - keep the campaign dense and effective. It is a bit like declaring mission accomplished in Afghanistan and going to Iraq. And yes, I am very very nervous.

Also, I find this a bit weird, but this site cultivates and celebrates the good news and if you raise concerns you get a Troll alert - interesting peer pressure.

Anyway, there is no resting allowed and we all must keep pushing. Tomorrow we will hopefully see the full response to Obama 30 min spot in the polls, which should make the skeptical and concerned among us feel better.

        •  I like to mention, in the primaries we just (0+ / 0-)

said - we are 10% behind - no matter what had happened and I liked this. Now we have been enjoying a lead for a long time and this is dangerous. We cannot give in to a false feeling of comfort.

          •  actually democrats have to learn how to win (0+ / 0-)

for years republicans assumed and acted like they had won. We cower from the thought.

            Not good.

But winning can change all that. Have some faith in your candidate and your own work.

I went to Pollster.com, and they show the race as wide as ever in PA, CO, and VA; only trending toward Obama in IN (where he seems never to have led); and yes, on a downward tilt for O in FL. Pollster is also factoring in all the three crappy +4s in VA in the chart, and yet the trajectory is still up for O, down for M. So as of 8 p.m. Eastern, Pollster.com (unless I'm reading the red/blue lines wrong!) seems to say that four of your five worries are actually not worries.
