rallies.... I've been watching the 'crowds' standing behind him and it's mostly been kids for several weeks now.  Go back and look at some footage, because this is not the first time.

One time I noticed a young girl picking her nose on national television!  Someone must have noticed because she got pulled out of camera shot pretty quickly.

Yes, he's been padding his "huge" crowds.  All I thought at the time was... well, they're not voting so he really isn't rallying GOTV.  What a pretender!

their campaign rallies with towns that have sympathetic school superintendents? How are the schools pulling this together? Aren't the decisions about where he's going changed rapidly or made at the last minute?

Are there big groups of students at Obama rallies? Maybe this is just a normal civic lessons concept for schools in a big election year?

I was at Obama's rally today in Sarasota (please go visit my diary w/pics!).  There were kids of all ages, but with their parents... I didn't see any groups of school-age kids with teachers.. or school buses, at the event.  But I couldn't vouch for any other of Obama's events.

Looks like you could put on your investigative journalism hat and track some of this down.  Look at the locations of recent McCain rallies where there is footage that I mentioned and check on the superintendents.  Aren't superintendents elected positions?  Would be very interesting to bust this one wide open.  Go to it, Una!
