They have described the Obama youth as brainwashed victims forced to sing songs of praise to the one... and yet they themselves are the ones arranging ahead of time with sympathetic school boards to fill empty seats with mandated attendance with transportation and personnel paid with local school money. Who's participation is more voluntary and whose is ordained in a more faux populist no-exception way with an "Educational activity" cover. Yes it is history in the making and democracy in action (sort of) and why not use the opportunity?

BUT my question is, what and who drove the plan? Was it bottom up spontaneous or top down orchestrated? Did it just seem like a good idea and this School board asked if they could come when they heard there would be a rally? I kind of think this was not the first and has been a strategy coordinated at the top of the McCain campaign and they go out looking to find school districts which will unofficially act as a part of the McCain campaign organizing their local participation in the rally.

It may have grown out of the poor attendance problems the campaign was having and they just expanded on a semi-spontaneous school district based "enthusiasm" subsidy which they realized could be a cheap and useful way to pad numbers and proceeded to expand and implement nationally where they could. And it is a great no-cost way to advertise the  party to future voters as well.... win-win bonus.
