  •  Employer-paid health insurance a myth (5+ / 0-)

Number 1: it's not free.  Employers can't carry the load anymore.  Money spent on insurance = money not spent on wages.
Number 2: it comes and goes with job.  Company goes broke, job gone, insurance gone.  Lose job otherwise, insurance gone.  Especially -- get sick or injured and can't work?  Insurance gone.

You have exactly 10 seconds to change that look of disgusting pity into one of enormous respect!

compete. it accounts for something like $1700 of the cost of every car they sell.

But don't worry, the existing system is working fine.

As GM goes, so goes the nation.

Isn't there a rumor of GM discussing bankrupcy talks?

      Oh, nevermind.

George Orwell is banging on the lid of his coffin and screaming, "1984 was a cautionary tale, you dolts, not a motivational speech!"

For this reason and that Risch is an asshole.  He touts a tax reduction of over $200 million while he was Gov. for 7 months.  It was a tax shift from property owners to evaryone else.  The Property tax was cut on all proprties including 2nd homes of the rich and famous and was passes to consumers in the form of a 1% sales tax increase.

If you rent your taxes went up.  If you are poor the taxes went up on the largest portion of your spending, food and clothes.

Please dont elect this landed gentry farmer who pays pennies for land taxes because of his ag exemption.
