    better to have compassion for the ignorance of those who went before...

    no problem with looking truth straight in face if one approaches it in a manner aimed at reconciliation

        rather it is a recognition of their being suffering folks, too  .... a way long way from enlightened, eh? One hopes they come to understand the depth of the tragedy, the complexity of the causes.
