  •  let ge guesstimate total turnout (6+ / 0-)

    Bill McInturff predicted 130 mill as compared to the 122 mill in 2004..  

    David Plouffe said a couple of days ago that while their turnout estimate is strategic information that they did not want to disclose, he thought McInturff was too low.

    I think 140 Million actually may be possible.  Now am I widely optimistic?  I do not think long lines will discourage Democrats, because they feel they are participating in something historic.  And I look at the incredibly early voting turnout and I wonder if 140 million might even be too low?

      people are STILL saying the youth won't turn out.  I look at all the youth energy at all the rallies and say how CAN'T they turn out, plus its so much of their future at stake.

      I hope they prove all the naysayers wrong.
