    Not a hope or a desire but a theory.

    Obama knew that too much change in 2008 would be too much change, so he went with a safe, reassuring VP candidate.

    By 2012, hoping that term 1 has been a success, and working on the theory that Biden will step aside, Obama will be in a good position to choose a youthful successor, (50-50 chance that person being a female.)

    That's my theory on how it will play out.

      Obama left Hillary a small window open for 2016. It will be hard for her, a woman at 68 but who knows. If she is a great SOS, we progress in terms of mentality as a nation, AND she acts like somebody Democrats can truly embrace, she may have a shot.
