    ...people are still ruled by what they fear and misunderstand.  Until people can overcome thier fears, as shown by the need to cling to belief systems as dictated by others, these type of ballot measures will pass.

    If I were homosexual I would consider leaving California.  But where would I go that is more supportive.  It is just a crying shame that we can treat our fellow human so in the name of god.

    As one wall is broken down another is built.

      and I'm not going anywhere.

      Time heals everything and eventually we WILL win this fight. Probably not in my lifetime (I am 57) but it will happen.

      I've seen such progress towards equal rights for gays in my life, I have faith that equality for gays will ultimately prevail.

      I don't mind straight people as long as they act gay in public.
