    That is not how the people who voted for prop 8 see it. And if you (general you) are not cognizant of this fact, then you will never understand how to win on this issue. If you don't understand the electorate, how are you going to create an effective message to get them on your side?

    Be a Liberal. People are more likely to run to you if you stand still and not run from yourself.

      What you quoted from me said, um, what you said.  Already.

      Just because the yes voters saw it that way, doesn't mean that it is true.  Pitching messages to yes on 8 people is a different matter than responding to the comment above, to someone using that erroneous language.

      CIVIL marriages are CIVIL marriages.  If you want to pitch in and help out the anti-gay folks by confusing it with religious marriage, go ahead.  But it is a lie.
