Due to the nature of my job I spend a lot of time in my car.  In the Los Angeles area I have essentially 5 choices on the am/fm dial for talk radio listening.  They include: KFI which broadcasts Limbaugh, Dr Laura and John and Ken; KABC which starts with Doug McIntyre, Bill O'reilly, Al Rantel, Sean Hannity then Larry Elder;  KRLA has Dennis Pragar, Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt: Air America which has Stefanie Miller, Thom Hartman, Randi Rhodes, Rachel Maddow, Ron Regan, and Mike Malloy;NPR Radio

If I were to guess my radio listening habits they would be:
    30% KRLA
    30% Air America
    20% KABC
    20% KFI (I don't listen to Limbaugh)

Whether I listen to the left or the right my goal is to wade through the BS and find the facts so I can make my own opinion.  I don't think the fairness doctrine is the way to resolve this. Having equal time for both sides won't correct the misinformation that is being spread on both sides of the dial.

I'd rather see a group of fair minded thinkers from both sides work together to put out the facts in a way that people can think for themselves. Is this possible?  I have heard that being in the "middle of the road" is not a safe place to be.
