      •  The Bush campaign strikes me as a cartoon, (none)
a Warner Brothers cartoon, starring Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner.

The Coyote (Bush) carefully plans and executes all kind of traps using explosives, only to see it all backfire and leave the Coyote hanging in midear, when he turns and looks to the camera, he has a Bush-like look of dumbness. Then he plummets to the Earth, as Bush is doing right now.

The canny Roadrunner (Kerry) just continues running the race, unfazed by the Coyote's stupid tricks.
