    many state laws say that you do need to provide proof of identity or residence.  If you don't have a photo ID, a piece of mail will work.  I think it's a good idea, and since most folks have ID you don't want them to leave it at home and end up voting provisionally.  I am sure there are some groups who contend you don't need ID, but as far as I know identification requirements are legal and constitutional.

    American military intervention is like American cinema. Really high production values, but the script sucks.
