    I don't see anything in the most recent ADN article on the specific process. They have to confirm the identity of the voter on the "questioned" ballots, so that part is hand done.  I know the early ballots were machine readable, so they could be machine read. Some subset of those will be rejected by the machine and will have to be handled.

    The part I don't get is they have to trust that the machine is set up to correctly count the votes. Who does that testing and is it done in a public way?  I would like to see a test run result tape when some known test ballots are run and then have the counter reset to 0 to start the real counting.
